The I.V. and Suture Sleeve is a new addition from Strategic Operations Hyper-Realistic™ line of products. This patient worn sleeve allows medical personnel to practice I.V. catheterization, suturing, stapling, anesthetization, and wound irrigation and cleansing techniques on a live patient without the trauma associated with these procedures. The I.V sleeve has the ability to provide live feedback of canalization with the positive “flash” associated with insertion into the vein. The silicone skin is hypoallergenic and is designed to hold suture and staples without ripping or tearing. The sleeve has an puncture resistant sleeve for patient protection and prevents accidental trauma during I.V. canalization and suturing procedures. The skin is fully repairable cutting the overall cost to the user.
